Plaza Mayor is at the heart of the festivities, with December dedicated to the Christmas market where stalls sell everything from hand-made jewellery to the ceramic nativity figures traditionally displayed in Spanish homes. The Plaza also hosts the city's patron saint's fiestas at the end of January - including a concert that attracts top Spanish acts.
Sant Francesc is a group of buildings incorporating a basilica, convent and cloister that together are a designated site of Cultural Interest. Found in the square of the same name, the combination of impressive Gothic and Baroque architecture and centuries of history make this the second most visited sight after the Cathedral.
