Entebbe is situated near Kampala, the capital of Uganda, on the banks of Lake Victoria, which is the second largest of Africa’s great lakes. Most of its 90,500 inhabitants work for one of the ministries established in the city. The remainder earn a living through agriculture or fishing.

The city of Entebbe takes good care of its sights and magnificent countryside. One major attraction is the Wildlife Centre, where you can find out all about wild animals and tropical plants. You should also take a walk through the botanical gardens. And don’t forget to spend an afternoon relaxing on the beautiful beaches of Lake Victoria.
