Minneapolis is not very well known as a tourist destination, but nature and culture lovers will certainly find much to enjoy here.

Minneapolis is the biggest city in the State of Minnesota and is situated on the Mississippi. Saint Paul is on the other bank of the river. They are often referred to as the Twin Cities. Important sights include the Capitol, the Christ Lutheran Church and the beautiful synagogue.

Art lovers will enjoy visiting one of the many museums of the city. Major attractions include the Walker Art Center, the Natural History Museum and the Museum of Hennepin County Historical Society. Minneapolis also has a number of big parks and beautiful lakes, which are ideal places to relax. Minnehaha Falls is another tourist attraction.
