Following the announcement of a national demonstration in Belgium on 7 October, we advise you to take the necessary precautions if you are travelling that day.
Currently we don’t foresee any impact on our flight operations. However, in case this situation would change, we will immediately inform you.
In the meantime, we advise you to come to the airport well in time (taking into account that traffic may be dense and several services may be hindered).
Please take also into account that Brussels Airport is currently doing renovation works on the Kiss & Fly zone. Queues towards the Kiss & Fly area are highly likely as the left lane will be out of service to allow for the work to be carried out, which means, only 1 lane is currently available. In addition, 1 in 4 drop-off spaces on the Kiss & Fly area is not available. All car parks remain accessible when entering the airport and along the side of the Kiss & Fly-zone.
Situation in Ouagadougou stabilized, normal flight operations to/from Ouagadougou since 2 October:
The political situation in Ouagadougou is currently stabilized and the curfew that was in place has been lifted.
Therefor we can return to normal flight operations to/from Ouagadougou. Since 2 October, the normal flight schedule is operated again:
SN255 Brussels 11:35 – Ouagadougou 15:30
SN255 Ouagadougou 16:25 – Abidjan 17:55
