Dangerous goods are items that may endanger the safety of an aircraft or person on board the aircraft.

Not permitted in checked and hand luggage:

• Gas cylinders - Flammable liquids - Organic peroxides - Toxic substances - Radioactive materials
• Corrosives
• Explosives
• Flammable solids
• Oxidising materials
• Infectious substances
• Magnetised materials
• Miscellaneous dangerous goods (including asbestos, dry ice, engines)

Not permitted in hand luggage :

• Liquids, gels and substances contained in spray. Small quantities are allowed, check the restrictions on liquids and gels in hand lugagge here
• Fake weapons and items that may be used as weapons which can discharge a projectile
  
• Pointed and sharp items (e.g. scissors, pocket knives)
  
• Blunt items (e.g. baseball bat)
