Wouldn’t you like to enjoy the comfort and services of a higher cabin class? With Plusgrade, now you can!

How does it work?

  • After you have booked your flight on this website, you will be invited to make an offer to upgrade to a higher class, from your booking confirmation page and confirmation e-mail.

  • If you didn't book your flight via our website, you'll be able to place your offer in Manage my flight. All you have to do is to name your price to upgrade each leg of your flight and follow the simple steps to confirm your offer.

  • You can modify or cancel an offer up to 72 hours prior to your flight's scheduled departure in Manage my flight.

  • 72 hours prior to departure, we'll notify you via mail if your request for an upgrade had been approved or not.

    • If your upgrade offer has been accepted, your credit card will be billed with the amount you offered. When you check in for your flight, you will receive your upgraded boarding pass.
    • If your upgrade offer hasn't been accepted, you pay nothing and keep your original ticket.

Which tickets are eligible for an upgrade?

Shorthaul flights:

  • All b.light economy tickets on Brussels Airlines operated flights are eligible for an upgrade to b.flex exonomy+ or
  • All b.flex economy+ tickets on Brussels Airlines operated flights are eligible for an upgrade to

Please note that the following destinations are not elegible for Plusgrade:

  • Agadir
  • Bari
  • Bastia
  • Cagliari
  • Figari
  • Malta
  • Marrakech
  • Montpellier
  • Palermo
  • Tel Aviv

Longhaul flights:

  • All Economy Class tickets on Brussels Airlines operated flights are eligible for an upgrade to Business Class tickets

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if I have to cancel my flight after my offer has been accepted ?
If your original ticket is refundable, the amount of the upgrade will be refunded to the credit card that was used to pay for the upgrade. If your ticket is non-refundable, the upgrade will not be refunded.

Will the upgrade allow me to collect more frequent flyer miles ?
You will collect frequent flyer miles according to your new booking class.

What happens if I cancelled my offer but I changed my mind or if I would like to change my credit card information?
You can submit a new offer by clicking on the appropriate link in the cancel e-mail you received from Plusgrade. To change the credit card information, you must first cancel your request and then re-submit the offer via the link in the cancel e-mail from Plusgrade.
