Save time with our latest online service: home-printed baggage tags.

If you’re already using our online check-in service, you will soon also have the option of printing your baggage tags at home. Simply print your baggage tags at home and drop off your tagged baggage either at the baggage drop-off desk or at one of the baggage drop-off machines at Brussels Airport.

Our home-printed baggage tag service is currently in its test phase and available on flights between the following destinations:
  • Brussels 
  • Budapest
  • Geneva
  • Gothenburg
  • London
  • Madrid
  • Moscow
  • New York
  • St. Petersburg
  • Warsaw
  • Washington
  • Zagreb

How does it work?

  • 1. Check in online

    You can check in online as from 24h before departure up to 1 hour before departure. More info.

  • 2. Register your bags

    If home-printed baggage tags are available on your flight, you will see the following screen:

    Enter the number of bags you intend to check in.
    If you are checking in for multiple passengers, please indicate the number of bags that each passenger intends to check in.
    For example:

    Please note that additional charges will be collected at the airport baggage drop-off point for bags that exceed the free baggage allowance limit.
    You will have the option to immediately download your baggage tags or to send them to your e-mail for printing later. Each baggage tag will be delivered in a PDF document.

    3. Print your tags

    Please fold the printed baggage tag according to the folding instructions on the page
  • 4. Attach the tag to your bag

    Insert each baggage tag in a transparent baggage tag holder and attach the holder to your bag.
    If you don’t have such a holder, Brussels Airlines will provide you with free holders at the airport. These holders can be re-used several times. 

  • 5. Drop your bags off at the airport

    Drop your tagged baggage off either at the baggage drop-off desk or at one of the baggage drop-off machines at Brussels Airport.
    When you drop your bags off at the airport, you will automatically receive another email with your baggage claim receipt.
