Discover Amare

Amare, an ode to Tomorrowland, was welcomed on 24 February 2017 as the fourth Airbus A320 in our Belgian Icons series. Since 2012, Brussels Airlines and Tomorrowland have been bringing people together from around the world to Belgium. That is exactly what Amare will continue to do. It is now on a mission to unite “the People of Tomorrow”, to gather fine memories and to create lasting friendships. We are one world. Like Tomorrowland, Amare means Live Today. Love Tomorrow. Unite Forever.

  • Arrive at the airport minimum 1 hour before departure for Schengen flights and minimum 2 hours for non-Schengen flights.

As many questions might arise regarding the use of this service, we have gathered the most frequent ones and provided the answers as below. If you have a question which is not answered below, feel free to contact us through our social media channels - we would be happy to help you out.

  • Can I drop tents or other oversized items off?

Sure, no problem at all! You can drop off all the items you have reserved in your booking.

  • Does my baggage travel with me?

Yes. Your baggage will be travelling on the same aircraft that you are flying on. Therefore, your baggage will arrive at the same time as you and can be picked up from the baggage reclaim belt!

  • Why aren’t all Brussels Airlines flights eligible?

Our long haul flights require an additional personal security check on your baggage, which we cannot execute at DreamVille.

  • I booked a flight with another carrier. Can I benefit from this service?

Unfortunately, you can’t. Only guests flying with Brussels Airlines can benefit from this exclusive and free service.

  • What are the opening hours?

You are welcome to drop your baggage off on Mondays from 2:00am to 1:00pm.

  • Can I use the service when I have a connecting flight?

You can benefit from this service when connecting within Europe.

  • What is my baggage allowance?

Wether you are travelling with a Global Journey package or you bought your ticket separately, your baggage allowance is mentioned on your e-ticket.

  • What if my baggage isn’t on the baggage reclaim at my destination?

In the unlikely event that your baggage does not arrive at your final destination, please go to brusselsairlines.com and proceed to fill in the form for Delayed or Lost Baggage, or visit the local Lost & Found office.

  • Is my baggage safe?

Yes. Once you hand your baggage over to the secured zone, a security agent checks that only intended baggage is entering the vehicle. After loading, he seals the truck for transport. At the airport, the seal is crosschecked and all baggage is unloaded by certified ground handlers. All baggage will then go through the normal security screening process so please adhere to the dangerous goods regulations.

  • What if my flight is postponed?

No worries, your baggage will wait in the baggage system of the airport until departure time.

  • What happens if I miss my flight?

Please send us a private message on Social Media if you will miss your flight, stating your name and flight number. All bags will be crosschecked before take-off with the actual guests on board. If you are not in time for your flight, your baggage will be unloaded.

  • I am unable to show my boarding pass. Will I still be able to use this service?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to use this service if you cannot present your boarding pass. Passengers, who are unable to show their boarding pass, are advised to check in and drop their baggage off at Brussels Airport.
