Optional Payment Charge

An optional payment charge may apply if you pay your ticket with credit cards. You can also pay with debit methods of payment (i.e. Debit Card and Cash-Ticket) and this free of charge. 

If you commence your journey in Germany (DE), Denmark (DK), Finland (FI), Poland (PL), Czech Republic (CZ), United Kingdom (GB), Ireland (IE) or the Netherlands (NL), an OPC will be charged on payments made by credit cards issued outside the European Economic Area. When paying with a credit card issued within the European Economic Area, an OPC will be charged according to the following principle, with a maximum charge of EUR 25 / GBP 20 / DKK 190 / CZK 680 / PLN 110.

The OPC is applied uniformly to all areas of carriage and booking classes. No OPC is charged on bookings of insurance packages, seat reservations and on subsequent payments in case of rebooking. No OPC applies to tickets for infants (younger than two years) or Miles & More award tickets.

The OPC is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
