*In case the cancellation fee is higher than the basic fare, only the international surcharge and the airport taxes will be refunded. In case the cancellation fee is lower than the basic fare, the difference between the basic fare and the fee will be refunded, on top of the international surcharge and the airport taxes.

**The extra baggage will only be refunded if cancelled together with the flight booking. In case of a Flex&Fast or Bizz&Class ticket, the extra baggage can be refunded separately if the refund is requested prior to check-in, via the Service Centre.

*** For guests originally booked in Economy and then upgraded to Flex&Fast on flights between Brussels and Tel Aviv, the change and refund conditions of the initial booking remain applicable.

Which refund conditions apply in case my ticket combines different travel classes?

For flights within Europe

In case your ticket combines different travel classes, the refund conditions of the coupon you wish to change will apply.
Example: if you travel in Check&Go on your departure flight, and you return in Flex&Fast, the Check&Go refund conditions will apply for your Check&Go coupon and the Flex&Fast refund conditions will apply for your Flex&Fast coupon.

For intercontinental flights

In case your ticket combines different travel classes, the most restrictive conditions will apply.
Example: if you travel in Economy Max Flex for your departure flight and you return in Economy Medium Flex, the Economy Medium Flex conditions will apply to the entire trip.

What happens to my return flight in case I cancel or do not show up for my outbound flight?

Please be advised that in the event you do not show up for any flight without advising us in advance or within 24 hours after the scheduled departure time of your first flight sequence, we will cancel your return or onward reservations.
In case you cancel your departure flight, the return flight will be cancelled automatically.

Can I cancel my return flight after I have taken my outbound flight?

Yes, in case of a Flex&Fast or Bizz&Class ticket, you will get a refund of the difference between the fare paid and the applicable one-way fare.
Yes, in case of a Light&Relax ticket, only the unused airport taxes and the unused international surcharge will be refunded.

What happens in case I purchased a cancellation insurance?

If you have purchased a cancellation insurance with Europ Assistance via brusselsairlines.com, please send a declaration form to Europ Assistance within 5 days after cancellation of your flight. You can find more information on how to submit your additional refund request here
