Kenya is well known among tourists for safaris, magnificent nature reserves, wild animals and the Masai, colourfully dressed indigenous tribes people who wander through the countryside with their herds of cattle. You will find many different landscapes in Kenya. The West is nice and green, while the North offers a desert landscape. Most of the population live in the West or South-west of the country. This region has the most attractive seaside resorts, including Mombasa.
East Africa Tourist Visa
Off to Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda? Then remember that these east African destinations offer a joint tourist visa obtainable from any of the three countries’ embassies. Apart from saving money compared to the price of the separate visas, the East Africa Tourist visa also saves on red tape. For more information visit www.visiteastafrica.org/visa-2/
Please note that as from 1 July 2015 all visa applications to enter Kenya are made electronically and have to be obtained before your travel. You can apply for your eVisa via www.ecitizen.go.ke.
