As a Belgian ambassador, we are pleased to offer you a taste of Belgium’s internationally acclaimed cuisine in Business Class. A host of Michelin-starred Belgian chefs will create special dishes using local regional produce to be served on board our long-haul flights out of Brussels.
Glenn Verhasselt
From January 2026, Business Class passengers on long-haul flights will enjoy exclusive dishes created by Glenn Verhasselt - chef at the two Michelin-starred restaurant Sir Kwinten in Lennik - in collaboration with his team.
Chef Verhasselt is known for his refined Belgian cuisine with a creative touch, focusing on seasonal ingredients and local products.
The young chef's list of achievements includes titles such as 'Young Top Chef of Flanders' (2020) and, more recently, 'Chef of the Year 2025' according to Gault&Millau. Since November this year, Glenn Verhasselt is also Provost of the Chefs of the renowned Gastronomic Club Prosper Montagné.
The Chef created an exclusive menu for Brussels Airlines Business Class on long-haul flights, combining his renowned style with Belgian classics and innovative techniques. The menu will consist of a selection of starters, main courses, and desserts that will change every three months.
"It is an honor to bring my cuisine to an altitude of 10,000 meters. We have developed dishes that reflect our signature style and are perfectly suited to the unique conditions on board. My goal is to give passengers a taste of Belgian haute cuisine during their journey."
- Glenn Verhasselt, Chef, Sir Kwinten
As always, the wines and Belgian beers have been carefully selected by experts: Master of Wine Jan De Clercq and beer sommelier Sofie Vanrafelghem. Bruut Festive 2022 from the Bruut Winery in Gooik will also be served on board. The cheeses were selected by Van Tricht.
