Respectful flying

Flying connects people, but it also brings a great deal of responsibility. Such as reducing our ecological footprint through:

  • a more modern and economical fleet, 
  • smarter flight patterns,
  • sustainable aviation fuels (SAF),
  • more environmentally friendly customer options.

Our goal? Cut CO₂ emissions in half by 2030 (compared to 2019) and fly climate neutrally by 2050. But ‘respectful flying’ goes further than just the environment. It's also about showing respect for one another – more on that in our Respectful Flying Charter.

A heart for one another

The people and places we visit are close to our hearts. With b.foundation for Africa, we therefore support projects that improve healthcare, education, and sustainable growth for local entrepreneurs.

Moreover, we fund social initiatives from colleagues. From reliable water supplies in Liberia to special bicycles for Belgian children with serious illnesses: each year we donate €1,000 to 10 projects.

We welcome everyone

As both an airline and an employer, we bring people with different backgrounds, cultures, and stories together. An example of this are our internal communities:

  • Diversifly: for the LGBTQI+ community
  • NTWRKX: for more female empowerment in the workplace, in all its forms
  • Brussels Young Network: for young colleagues and new faces
