Bike and Hike for Africa
he masterpiece of our b.foundation for Africa is “Bike and Hike for Africa”, a two-yearly expedition for Brussels Airlines and Lufthansa Group employees, raising funds for selected African projects in the countries where we go hiking or biking. Bike for Africa originated in 2010 from the dream of bringing people together in a biking trip on this fascinating continent, having fun together and doing something good for the local African communities. With a group of 70 colleagues we hike or bike across the breathtaking African countryside, challenging ourselves and living a “once in a lifetime” team experience. At the same time, we are helping those who are less fortunate.
